Each year, FileMaker recognizes FileMaker Business Alliance (FBA) partners who
have demonstrated an impressive level of professionalism and creativity in using FileMaker software to deliver excellent solutions to their customers.
The FileMaker Excellence Award winners are chosen from the 1200 FileMaker Business Alliance members worldwide who are FileMaker consultants, solution providers, plug-in developers, trainers, and hosting companies that serve a wide variety of industries.
FileMaker Excellence Award for Business Driver of the Year
Sohnar, Particle Systems Limited, and Practical Solutions for Educators are being honored for their overall sales achievement. They have sold the most FileMaker licenses in their respective geography for 2008:

Geoff Coffey of Six Fried Rice is being honored for his contribution over the years to the FileMaker community, which include active and helpful participation in the FileMaker Tech Talk forum, key contributor to the development of various plug-ins, and co-author of FileMaker Pro 9: The Missing Manual.
FileMaker Excellence Award Evangelist of the Year
Shin Ninagawa of Splash, Inc.
Shin Ninagawa is being honored for her continued efforts to evangelize the FileMaker user community in Japan.
FileMaker Excellence Award for Solution of the Year
Fusion Reactor by Digitial Fusion Ltd.
Digitial Fusion Ltd. is being honored for its FileMaker plug-in that gives you means to build customizable, dynamic interfaces in FileMaker solutions.
FBA Business Partner of the Year for Europe
SHpartners
SHpartners is being honored for efforts in building the FileMaker community. This organization has been a Platinum member for 10 years and is best known for creating great new plug-ins for FileMaker developers and for successfully organizing the first Dutch/Flemish DevCon this year.

The 2008 FileMaker Mad Dog Public Relations Winners
FileMaker Public Relations awarded the coveted Mad Dog PR Award to 7 FileMaker Developers at DevCon.
